Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. Lefevre, who was waiting tables during the time, was found by one of the Canadian filmmaker, and he assisted her in landing the role of her debut as an actress. The actress then relocated into Los Angeles and earned a frequent appearance on the TV show What About Brian (2006). Lefevre was just a teenager and working in an Montreal restaurant that served sushi, was aware of her desire to become an actor, and made contact with one of the casting directors. That led her to landing an appearance in a Canadian comedy. The appearances she made on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to the lead in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC successful Life on Mars (2009). The father of Lefevre is French. She was raised in Montreal and spoke majority English. In 2004, due to the shortage of English acting roles that spoke English in Montreal the actress moved into Los Angeles. She landed her most prominent film role yet in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight one of an acclaimed series of teenage novels that focus on vampires.
